Stocks of Sam Adam's Winter Lager are running low. Good Porters on tap are beginning to disappear. And apparently, a store near my buddy has stocked a Strawberry Blonde beer of some sort. I love me a good Strawberry Blonde. This, folks, is just the beginning.
Bring on the Leinenkugel's Orange Shandy, Skull Coast Sea Witch Watermelon Wheat, Ommegang Hennepin, Saison Dupont, Boulevard Brewing Tank 7, and so many others...
Pauljones is ready.

Why wait for Tank 7? There's a pair of pubs near me that have it on tap .

Wrong state for me, unfortunately. But good lord man, more power to you. Go get yourself some Tank 7 awesomeness.

Where area are you from again?
My favorite Strawberry Blonde comes from Ann Arbor Brewing Company aka ABC.

I'm from LA, but now live in DC. I'm kind of hoping that the beer they are stocking is St. Dekkera Reserve Sour Strawberry Blonde, but I'm not totally stupid. That just ain't happening. I've only had it once, and from what I understand, it's typically not something that is generally available far outside of Destihl Restaurant & Brew Works. I've been craving more ever since, though.
We shall see... fruit beers are generally hit-or-miss; they are either absolutely delicious or absolutely terrible. Time will tell with whatever it is that this store is stocking.

You see one of these at your beer store, give it a try. I like it!

I don't know if they're available in DC but if you can, get your hands on some Kawartha Lakes Brewing Raspberry Wheat or Amsterdam Brewing's Framboise (this one will be more difficult as it is a small batch, limited run brew they do every once in a while).
They are made in southern Ontario so there is a chance that they make it to the states so do check them out if you can; I'm a big fan of both.
